The cancellation and no-show policy can be consulted on the booking pages. Please note that some rates, payment methods or special offers do not allow cancellation without penalty, please check the booking conditions before making the reservation.
We usually use two cancellation policies, which correspond to two separate rates:
Once reservation process has been completed, reservation is confirmed and guest will receive a confirmation email. You can change or delete a refundable booking by following the appropriate link in your confirmation email.
Providing a valid credit card is a mandatory part of the booking process. The hotel needs a credit card to be pre-authorized in order to guarantee late cancellations or no-shows.
A pre-authorization is a temporary hold of a specific amount of the available balance on a credit card. A pre-authorization is not a charge and the balance of the account is not changed in any way. The pre-authorized sum will not be available in the account and will not be accounted for by the bank until the closure (definitive debit) or cancellation (reversal) of the pre-authorisation.
In case of late cancellation or no-show of the guest, the hotel will “close” the pre-authorization by charging the credit card for the amount relating to the cancellation or no-show penalty, the cancellation or no-show fee corresponds ( ONLY BY BOOKING ON OUR SITE!) at first night amount.
Sure! If you made a REFUNDABLE booking, the card provided at the time of booking will only be a guarantee. At check-in, you can pay by another card or in cash, in these cases the pre-authorization on the card provided as guarantee will be canceled.
As soon as a refundable reservation is canceled, hotel cancels the pre-authorization, and the pre-authorized amount will be available again on the customer’s card according to the timing of its bank. Usually within 5 working days.
The Rome city tax is an additional cost to the cost of the reservation which must be paid in cash upon check-out. In three-star hotels it corresponds to 6.00 euros, per night, per person. The tax is paid only for the first 10 nights of stay, children under 10 are exempted.
